Institute of Hydrometeorology (HMI)

The Hydrometeorological Institute was founded in 1962 under the Academy of Sciences of Albania. It is a research institute responsible for the collection, processing and analysis of all meteorological and hydrological data. Its tasks include reports and studies in the field of meteorology, hydrology, and the environment. The HMI provides hydrometeorological information and studies to the governmental and public administration, the weather sensitive branches of economy, and society.

The Climate Alliance Austria, concerned with sustaining the
earth's atmosphere, is part of the larger Climate Alliance of
European Cities with Indigenous Rainforest Peoples. The Alliance
specifically aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 50 percent by 2010,
abdicate the use of tropical timber, and support sustainable development
in Amazonia.
The Austrian Climate Portal (ACCC)

ACCC focuses on international and Austrian climate research and
policy and provides information and documents on emissions trading,
climate change, etc. ACCC works in cooperation with the Austrian
Ministry of Life and the Austrian Federal Environmental Agency.

The Climate Alliance is an association of European cities and
municipalities that have entered into a partnership with indigenous
rainforest peoples. This worldwide alliance is united by a common
concern for the world's climate. The aim of the Climate Alliance
is to preserve the global climate by reducing greenhouse gas emissions
to a sustainable level in the industrialized countries of the
north, and conserving the rainforests in the south of the planet.

partnership with the Austrian Energy Agency and the Austrian Ministry
of Life. The programs implemented through the initiative mainly
focus on reducing CO2 emissions and curbing the use of renewable
energy sources such as solar power.
Real Climate

Real Climate is a commentary site on climate science by working
climate scientists for the interested public and journalists.
It includes commentary beginning in December 2004 and an index

Canada’s National Climate Change Process

in Canada. Site includes many documents on climate change, and

The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI)

In the Netherlands, the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute is known mainly for its weather forecasts and warnings, but is does a lot more in its capacity as a national data and knowledge centre for weather, climate research and seismology. KNMI was founded by Royal Decree in 1854 and is the national institute for weather, climate research and seismology. It disseminates weather information to the public at large, the government, aviation and the shipping industry in the interest of safety, the economy and a sustainable environment. To gain insight into long-term developments, KNMI conducts research on climate change.
