Qualifications

Internships at the Climate Institute are entirely voluntary (unpaid) and awarded on a competitive basis.

Strong candidates will:

• possess excellent research and communication skills
• show personal initiative, leadership, and attention to detail
• be proficient in a foreign language (working knowledge of Spanish, German, or French preferred)
• be interested in advancing their own learning

Prior work in the environmental field is not necessary, but helpful. Experience writing and editing articles as well as fundraising skills are a plus. Preference is given to interns who are available on a part-time basis (20-25 hours/week) during spring and fall terms and full-time (35-40 hours/week) during the summer.
