Slide 1: Hurricane Isabel was a "wee" wakeup call. It's been decades
since a hurricane made landfall in the immediate vicinity of the Bay, and
then continue to move northward parallel to the main stem. In this talk,
I'm going to discuss what Isabel can teach us about coastal change and coastal
vulnerability in a century that may see a global rise in sea level that has
occurred not for at least a millennium, may be several thousand years
if it is sustained.
